The Flood Risk Management team at Derbyshire County Council have asked the Parish Council to collate details of those affected by the recent flood in the village. If your home was affected please email your address to the clerk at It is only you address which is required and this will not be shared with anyone apart from DCC.

Adopt a planter

The parish council are asking for volunteers to carryout maintenance to the 'Roadside' flower beds and planters. These have over the last few years been neglected and allowed to become overgrown. The council of 2019 wish to restore as many as possible to their former state and hopefully maintain them with the help of local residents.

Police In South Derbyshire Hold Series of Crime Prevention Events Across the District

Officers from our Safer Neighbourhood teams across South Derbyshire are holding a series of crime prevention events cross the district during September.
